ज़हरीले भूजल से पीड़ित हर रहवासी के स्वास्थ्य को पहुँचे नुकसान के लिए यूनियन कार्बाइड और डाव केमिकल कम्पनी से कम से कम 2 लाख रुपया मुआवज़ा दिलाए |
डाव केमिकल का इस देश में कारोबार तब तक के लिए बन्द करें जब तक कि कम्पनी भोपाल जिला अदालत से जारी सम्मन का पालन करते हुए आपराधिक प्रकरण में पेश नहीं होती | गैस काण्ड पर जारी आपराधिक मामले में सी बी आई जल्द से जल्द यूनियन कार्बाइड कम्पनी के नुमाइन्दे जॉन मैक्डोनाल्ड को पेश करे |
2. इलाज और शोध
गैस पीड़ितों के लिए बने अस्पतालों में इलाज का सही तरीका अपनाया जाए ताकि दवाओं से आराम मिले न कि शरीर को नुकसान पहुँचे |
ज़हरीले भूजल से पीड़ित रहवासियों को गैस पीड़ितों के लिए बने अस्पतालों में मुफ्त इलाज दिया जाए |
गैस पीड़ित आबादी में जन्म, मृत्यु और जन्मजात विकृतियों के पंजीकरण के लिए विशेष व्यवस्था की जाए |
निरेह द्वारा गैस और ज़हरीले भूजल से पीड़ित इन्सानों के स्वास्थ्य पर जो शोध कार्य बन्द कर दिए गए हैं उन्हें चालू किया जाए |
3. रोज़गार और पेन्शन
गैस पीड़ितों और उनके बच्चों को रोज़गार दिलाने के लिए आवंटित करोड़ों रुपयों का इस्तेमाल कर जल्द से जल्द रोज़गार दिलाया जाए |
गैस पीड़ित विधवा पेन्शन से अकारण वंचित महिलाओं को तत्काल 1000 रुपए प्रति महिना पेन्शन दिलाई जाए |
4. ज़हर सफाई
प्रदेश सरकार से लीज़ की शर्तों के मुताबिक़ डाव केमिकल कम्पनी को भोपाल के मिट्टी पानी की ज़हर सफाई करने के लिए मजबूर किया जाए |
प्रदेश सरकार स्मारक बनाने का काम तब तक रोक कर रखे जब तक कि ज़हर सफाई का काम पूरा नहीं हो जाता |
कार्बाइड कारखाने के पीछे ज़हरीले तालाब में सिंघाड़े उगाने और मछली पालने के खतरनाक काम पर स्थाई रोक लगाई जाए |
Organisations working among the survivors of the 84 Union Carbide disaster congratulated the agitating farmers on the Prime Minister’s announcement today to repeal the black agricultural laws. Rashida Bee of Bhopal Gas Peedit Mahila Stationary Karmchari Sangh said, “Modi government was imposing these black laws to benefit companies. This government talks about bringing Ram Raj but under its guise it wants to bring company Raj (rule) in the country. The farmers movement has given a big blow to the dream of Company Raj.
37 दिन के अभियान के उनीसवे (19) दिन पर भोपाल में यूनियन कार्बाइड गैस हादसे के पीड़ितों ने भारत सरकार के स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय से जवाब माँगा | उन्होंने पूछा, “2011 में यूनियन कार्बाइड के जहरों से पीड़ितों के स्वास्थ्य पर शोध करने के लिए बना राष्ट्रीय पर्यावरणीय स्वास्थ्य शोध संस्थान (NIREH) ने भोपाल के पीड़ितों के स्वास्थ्य पर पड़े नुकसान पर वैज्ञानिक अध्ययन क्यों बन्द कर दिए हैं ?”
On the nineteenth day of their 37-day campaign, the survivors of the Union Carbide Disaster sought answers from the Government of India. They asked,” Why has the National Institute for Research in Environmental Health (NIREH) stopped carrying out research on the health impact of the Bhopal Gas Disaster & environmental contamination when it was created for this sole purpose in 2011?”
On the 18th day of its 37 day campaign, Bhopal survivor organisations received support from 2 sitting MLA of the Indian National Congress Party. Mr. Arif Masood and Mr. PC Sharma both came to the dharna site and extended support to their long standing demands on compensation, clean up, medical care & rehabilitation & punishment to the guilty. Both also assured the survivors that they will raise their questions in the Winter session of MP assembly. They have also promised to write and seek time for appointment from the Prime Minister regarding the resolution of long standing demands of the survivors of the Union Carbide disaster.
