1. On the ground – Victory!
Survivors of the Union Carbide disaster in Bhopal ended their protest at Jantar Mantar five days ago after assurance by the Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers of meeting their demands. Five women survivors and their supporter broke their water-less fast on the fourth day with sips of water offered by Joint Secretary AJV Prasad who came to the protest site.

4. Year End Appeal Letter
It’s that time of year again! Each December, we send appeal letters out from various activists, celebrities, artists and leaders who support the campaign. This year, anti-war and environmental justice activist Diane Wilson reminds us why it’s important to support the ICJB.
